WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) released the following statement in support of Pete Buttigieg, who, according to reports, has been named by President-elect Biden as his nominee for Secretary of Transportation.

I've known Pete for most of my adult life. I've seen him answer the call to serve and put the American people first. Congressman Kim is a member of the House Armed Services Committee, the House Small Business Committee and the House Select Committee on the Coronavirus Crisis. Prior to serving in the House, Congressman Kim worked as a career public servant under both Democrats and Republicans.
