Military Families and Service Members
Our communities are home to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, where tens of thousands of service members and their families are based. Our men and women in uniform, and their families, aren’t just on the front lines of defending our freedom, they’re our neighbors, and it’s up to us to fight for them like they fight for us. As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, I’m dedicated to being a voice for our service members and their families. During my time in Congress, I’ve heard from our service members and military families about the need to ensure the drinking water near our Joint Base is free of toxic chemicals like Per-and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS), the need to create economic opportunities for our military spouses, and the need to honor the sacrifices our military families make.
